Visa types

Which visa do you need?

Type C

Short stay · up to 90 days

Language courses, short certifications and some exchange programmes.

After you graduate

Job-search permit · up to 12 months

A temporary residence permit that lets graduates stay on to look for work, then convert to a work permit.

Before the visa

Two steps people often miss.

Incomplete pre-enrolment and missing certificate verification are among the most common reasons visa files are delayed or refused.

A

Universitaly pre-enrolment

Mandatory for non-EU students. You register on the Universitaly portal, your university validates the application, and the embassy uses that summary to process your visa.

B

DoV or CIMEA verification

A Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore) or CIMEA statement confirms your Indian qualifications. It can take several weeks, so we start it early.
